What our reports have found

Road Commission workers made the April 7 discovery near U.S. 127 that our report on the human remains describes; that report says public reports did not identify the person or establish a cause or manner of death (What Is Publicly Known About Human Remains Found Near U.S. 127).

Our other road reports concern bids and closures: the Lumberjack Road bridge over the Pine River (Lumberjack Road Bridge Bid Came In $857,000 Under the Engineer’s Estimate) and the state's M-46 resurfacing ($3.7 Million M-46 Resurfacing Runs Through Mid-October, With a Detour at the Breckenridge Rail Crossing).
